Farfan Innocent is a seven year old child slave, living in Cit Soleil, the poorest slum of Port au Prince, Haiti. She is a so called "Restavek" the haitian name, coming from french "rester avec" which means "Stay with" . She was born in Jeremie in the south of Haiti and was given away by her poor parents to Port au Prince at the age of 5. Since then she is working as a house slave for her tonton ( uncle ). The number of restavek chlids in Haiti is estimated about 250 to 400 thousand. Most of them are living under very bad conditions as malnutrition, sexual abuse and without any kind of school education.
